The Academy Programs

This program instills bedrock principles, upon which aspiring leaders in the program will continuously develop, refine and apply in every aspect of their lives. It also instills the spirit of entrepreneurship and provides its participants with useful tools to this end. We groom our Future Leaders to be job creators for the Community, not only job seekers within it.

The Fundamentals of Flight Educational Program provides students with structured and engaging aerodynamic frameworks tailored to fit varying learning styles. Through Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, Computations and Creativity, this program is designed to increase the foundational knowledge of the fundamentals of flying.

Students will learn essential knowledge relating to weather phenomena and how that impacts the aerodynamics of flight, and performance of airplane systems. Students are then given scenarios where they will reinforce this knowledge through hands-on Flight Simulation and Real-World Flying! Additionally, students will receive inspirational lectures and mentorship from Professional Pilots!

The Community Out-reach Program is focused on identifying local obstacles and barriers preventing unrestricted opportunities of exposure into the aviation field. Leveraging of our network of partnerships, we provide direct solutions to mitigate those 'barriers to entry.' This enables deployment of effective aviation recruitment strategies, that yields an increase in industry access for under-served African American Communities.

As the next step in a phased approach, the simulation program allows students to test & validate knowledge, concepts & theory in a forgiving learning environment, producing exponential growth in confidence & skill acquisition. The Program is constructed to provide highly accurate flight physics, immersive and updated global scenery, dynamic real-world weather and deep flight systems replication.

Title 14 CFR Part 61 governs the certification of pilots, flight instructors, and ground instructors in the United States.

Students will be able to work one on one with their desired Flight Instructor utilizing a training plan tailored to fit their learning styles and schedule. Upon completion of the certification program, students will then take a Practical Examination, where upon successful completion they will earn an FAA Pilot’s License and/or Rating.
